Once you activate the John Deere Operations Center Integration, your inventory will be automatically synced between John Deere and RecovR so that you don't have to manage the creation of equipment in both places.
When is My Inventory Synced?
Your inventory is automatically synced immediately upon activating the integration and once every 24 hours.
You can also manually resync your inventory by navigating to the Integrations page at the Company in RecovR and clicking on Check for Updates:
How is my Inventory Synced?
Inventory is synced utilizing John Deere as the source of truth for your current equipment inventory. Every time an inventory synced is performed, the system will analyze each equipment currently in your John Deere inventory and look for a match in RecovR by comparing the serial number in John Deere to the VIN in RecovR.
Then, the following logic is used:
If 1 match is found in RecovR, the integration will automatically connect this pre-existing equipment in RecovR to your matching equipment in John Deere
If no matches are found in RecovR, the integration will create a new equipment assigned to the connected Company and connect it to the equipment in John Deere
If multiple matches are found, RecovR will use the most recently created equipment to connect to the equipment in John Deere. Once this connection is established, this match will remain even if continue to create new equipment with the same VIN.
