Deployment Date: These new features will deployed on April 30th around 10pm EST pending final quality checks and approval from John Deere. Any changes to that schedule will be updated here.

What Improvements Are Coming?

John Deere recently opened up their APIs to allow us to integrate with equipment instead of assets in Operations Center, which will more seamlessly fit in with your existing use of operations center and allow access to features that aren't supported for assets.

You can read the following guides to get up-to-speed on how the new integration functions:

How Can I Prepare?

Disconnect Your Current Integration

(Optional) Disconnect the current integration

Using the disconnect instructions, you can disconnect the integration ahead of the deployment which will remove all assets created by RecovR in John Deere to help clean up your account.

During the deployment, RecovR will disconnect any active integrations to allow you to re-enable the integration when your equipment inventory is ready with all of the VINs and serial numbers populated.

Prepare Your Inventory & Reconnect

Make sure your inventory exists as equipment in John Deere

The updated integration will use the equipment that exists in John Deere as the source of truth for your inventory, so the equipment must be created, or already exist, in John Deere for the integration to function properly.

Make sure to populate all of the VIN fields in your RecovR equipment to match the serial number of the equipment in John Deere

These fields will be used to the map the equipment between John Deere and RecovR. If you do not populate the VIN fields, we may create duplicate equipment if we cannot find a match for your equipment. Read more about this in the inventory syncing guide.

Reconnect the integration

Follow the steps in the Connection the John Deere Operations Center Integration guide to reconnect the integration.
